The perfect way to say goodbye (*hopefully*) to winter! This has been a family favorite getaway for as long as I can remember and its super special to share with my kiddos now. (I love the snow, but I am ready for some Spring sunshine - and this Oregon rain is not cooperating!)
On the Hood River side of Mt. Hood, you can find fun, beginner ski slopes, Nordic trails and cozy little cabins. Since COVID has restricted the use of the hot tubs, all guests have completmentary snowshoe rentals - which we took full advantage of this trip. (Much harder when pulling three toddlers in sleds!)
The Crooked Tree Tavern is finally open and they are serving cozy, local fares with yummy cocktails. We are never disappointed to make snowy memories, but they are extra special when visiting this Cooper Spur Mountain Resort.
